How did you get started at RCH?
I came to RCH with a foundation in marine research and some experience in CEQA through work with Grassetti Environmental Consulting. RCH was my first full-time environmental role, and I quickly grew into it by applying my research and technical writing skills across a range of projects.
How did RCH support your professional growth?
RCH let me work on a huge variety of projects, from air quality for landfills and organic waste facilities to land use for a cemetery. I also supported projects of statewide importance, the largest solar and battery installation in the country. RCH is working on some pretty cool projects! The range and scale of work at RCH makes every project an opportunity to learn something new.
Any advice for someone starting out in the environmental field?
Make sure to ask for help. Professionals in this field are generally eager to talk about their specialty and expertise, and so much can be learned from listening and watching.
Do you serve on any non-profit boards?
I previously served on the elected board of directors of the National Parliamentary Debate League, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that supports high school parliamentary debaters across the country.
Favorite memory at RCH Group?
Definitely Kings games! It’s always a great time getting together with the team, unwinding a bit, and cheering for Sacramento.
